In 1998, Louis Vuitton created the vernis leather line. If you haven't seen this "in real life" you really do need to immediately turn off your computer and head on over to your local Louis Vuitton boutique. Vernis is actually a sparkly almost patent with the LV monogram embossed in the leather. Like the epi line, Louis Vuitton has introduced and retired a whole spectrum of colors. While this is a fun line to carry- be careful, as it is suseptible to color migration and the lighter colors can distor over time if not properly stored and cared for.
